• Born from an obssession to build a cotton tank that keeps you comfortable through the miles

  We love cotton because it is soft on the skin and highly absorbent. But when it comes to high-intensity activities, cotton apparel is often not ideal as it soaks up sweat and retains the moisture. Instead of using a cotton synthetic blend to solve this issue, we opted to use an ultra thin organic cotton from India, which is GOTS-ceritified. The thinner fabric allows the tee to dry quickly while providing all the benefits of a cotton shirt.

Ultra light: 68 grams

Using an extremely thin 60-count single yarn fabric, the AIRLY COTTON T-SHIRT weighs just 68g (size M). For comparison's sake, a typical cotton T-shirt usually weighs around 130g and HERENESS wool T-shirt is 120g.

This incredible lightness means our cotton tee has the same quick-drying property as synthetic fabrics, but offers all the comfort of cotton. The AIRLY COTTON T-SHIRT will absorb your sweat and dries off rapidly as you run. Please note that individual experiences will vary depending on factors including temperature and amount of moisture.

 

Important note about this product

The AIRLY COTTON TANK is prone to skewing, or twisting of the fabric. This is because we chose the thinnest cotton possible for the quick-drying feature, which is essential in our opinion for a running tee. However, that means some level of skewing is inevitable.

To minimize shape distortion from repeated wash, this product is sewn in a skewed state. Please make sure you understand and accept this aspect of the AIRLY COTTON T-SHIRT before purchasing.

The comfort and function of the shirt is not affected by any skewing.

 

• Organic cotton from India

  While cotton is a versatile and comfortable material, the enivironmental impact and labor conditions around cotton cultivation are also major concerns. Responsible sourcing is important to us, which is why we chose to use organic cotton from India. Organic cotton is grown without the use of pesticides and chemical fertilizers for 2 to 3 years, adhering to strict standards. To be recognized as organic cotton, growers must also comply with labor safety standards.

• World's leading GOTS certified

  The Global Organic Textile Standard (GOTS) is the world's leading textile processing standards for organic fibers. It defines environmental and social requirements, and covers the entire supply chain from processing and manufacturing to distribution. Specifically, it prohibits the use of GMO technology, highly toxic agents such as azo dyes, and child labor. It also sets standards for wastewater treatment and compliance with social norms. By using GOTS certified fabric, we ensure our COTTON×SILK shirt is sustainably and ethically made.
