The idea behind this jacket was to create the perfectly balanced insulated layer using synthetic fill.
After testing various materials, we chose the trusted Primaloft®, specifically the premium Primaloft® Gold made from recycled polyester.
Its ultra-fine microfibers provide exceptional warmth even when wet.

The outer shell is made of lightweight 13D ripstop nylon with a C0 water-repellent finish, offering peace of mind in light rain.
Despite its remarkably light weight of 510g (size M), the jacket uses a lofty 133g/m² fill, giving it ample insulation to perform equally well as a mid-layer or a standalone outer layer.

Most synthetic insulation jackets in the past have emphasized a thin, streamlined design.
The SHELTERING JACKET, however, intentionally uses a lofty 133g/m² Primaloft® fill to achieve a minimalist yet moderately voluminous silhouette that blends effortlessly into urban settings.

Both the hood and hem feature adjusters, allowing you to fine-tune the length and volume to your liking.
A two-way front zipper provides ventilation when your activity level rises on a hike or when you start to feel warm during your commute.

Easy Care

Unlike down jackets, the synthetic Primaloft® insulation can be easily washed at home.
Simply place it in a laundry net and wash it with a mild detergent in your washing machine.
After washing, hang to dry for best results.

  At HERENESS, we make every effort to choose recycled materials whenever synthetic fibers are used.
  For the SHELTERING JACKET, we selected Primaloft® Gold (100% recycled) because it offered a sustainable alternative without compromising performance.
  Both the outer and lining fabrics are made from recycled nylon, using a premium 13D material treated with an environmentally friendly C0 water-repellent finish.
